Position Summary:

Under general supervision, the Warehouse Attendant performs a variety of material handling and warehouse functions, including but not limited to: pulling and checking customer orders, replenishing stock, shipping, and receiving materials. This position utilizes an automated warehouse management system and consistently ensures the accuracy of all incoming and outgoing materials and order counts. Secondary duties may include cutting and chamfering materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive material deliveries, check paperwork, and ensure accuracy. Process/receive incoming orders using the company's database, and immediately report discrepancies. Pick and deliver material according to job prioritizations and instructions. Conduct inventory counts using scales or manual methods. Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments against packing slips. Package shipments with care using appropriate materials and padding. Load/unload trucks using hand and power equipment; receive equipment operation training as needed. Move and store materials as directed for optimal warehouse organization. Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment and supplies. Assemble containers (wooden or cardboard) as necessary. Cut material using a vertical band saw; chamfer with grinder or belt sander. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Accurately count, measure, and record material details. Follow all safety procedures and operate efficiently. Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience with material handling, inventory control, safety, Lean Manufacturing, and ISO standards. Basic computer/data entry experience. Ability to read fractions and decimal conversions. Ability to accurately measure length using tape measures, calipers, or other devices. Physically able to perform tasks involving kneeling, crouching, stooping, bending, standing, and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 75 pounds. Good visual and hearing acuity for reading, machine operation, and diagnosing equipment. Flexible, high-energy attitude able to multitask and handle changing priorities. Detail-oriented and process-driven with a commitment to accuracy. Effective verbal and written communication skills.

6:30am

•3:00pm | $20/hour 2nd

Shift:

3:00pm

•11:30pm | $23/hour Upon conversion, eligible for a raise of $1

•2/hour within the first year.
