We are a family owned company that takes great pride in the service we provide to all of our customers. We buy steel directly from the steel mills and sell the product to various manufacturing companies, machine shops and competing steel distributors. Peterson Steel is looking to fill an immediate opening for a full time, first shift, entry level warehouse position. Previous experience is not required, as we provide in house training to all interested applicants.

The position involves:

loading and unloading trucks verifying incoming deliveries breaking open bundles of steel bars and placing them in the appropriate inventory racks. The job is physical in nature and requires the ability to lift more than 50 pounds on a regular basis . The applicant will be trained in the use of forklift trucks and overhead cranes. We are looking for an energetic, hardworking, reliable individual who will be committed as a team player. This position has potential for full time work.
