Warehouse Clerk-1st Shift

Job description: Company hiring Warehouse Clerks to join their logistics team. You will be responsible for inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. 1st Shift-Tuesday-Friday 5am-330pm-19/hr Duties Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory levels, process orders, and update stock records accurately. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using order picker equipment and proper packaging techniques. Assist in stock replenishment by stocking shelves and organizing inventory in designated areas. Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents. Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update records using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems. Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all warehouse activities to maintain a secure working environment. Collaborate with the distribution team to optimize warehouse layout for efficient workflow. Support e-commerce order fulfillment processes by accurately picking and packing products for online customers. Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or similar platforms. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with order picking & packing techniques. Familiarity with inventory control methods such as stock counting and reconciliation. Basic math skills for measuring quantities, calculating weights, and verifying shipments. Understanding of warehouse distribution processes within e-commerce or retail sectors is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills complemented by a proactive approach to safety and efficiency.
