Part Time Security

Position Overview:

We're seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Security Associate Friday and Saturday 4pm - 12am, to help maintain a safe, respectful, and well-managed environment at our hotel during busy weekend periods. Our property frequently hosts wedding parties, youth sports teams, including Little League groups, so this role requires someone who is comfortable interacting with children and capable of maintaining order in a friendly but firm manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor hotel premises, including lobbies, hallways, entrances, and common areas Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and visitors Maintain order among guest and youth groups and enforce hotel policies respectfully Address noise complaints and disturbances promptly and professionally Conduct routine patrols of the property Respond to incidents and document any unusual activity Work closely with front desk staff and management to handle guest concerns De-escalate situations calmly and effectively

Qualifications:

Previous security or customer service experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable working with guest and youth groups; able to set clear boundaries Ability to remain calm and professional in high-energy or challenging situations Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods

Preferred Traits:

Experience working security dealing with people Experience working in hospitality or with youth organizations Conflict resolution or de-escalation training

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
