Job Description
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse while ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for delivery. This position requires a dependable individual who can work safely, follow instructions from supervisors, and contribute to daily warehouse operations. The work days are Monday - Friday 6am-3pm Essential Duties & Responsibilities Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently. Receive incoming deliveries and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders. Inspect incoming products for damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately. Organize, stock, rotate, and label inventory in designated warehouse locations. Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently. Assist delivery drivers with loading routes and ensuring orders are secure for transport. Perform routine inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories. Keep the warehouse, storage areas, loading docks, and workstations clean and organized. Dispose of trash, pallets, and packing materials properly to maintain a safe work environment. Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely (forklift experience is a plus, if applicable). Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and food safety standards. Complete assigned tasks promptly and follow directions from supervisors and management. Report damaged products, equipment malfunctions, inventory shortages, or safety concerns immediately. Assist with other warehouse or operational duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Physical Requirements Frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds . Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods throughout the workday. Push and pull loaded carts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Work in refrigerated, freezer, and warehouse environments as needed. Ability to work overtime when business needs require.
