Job Description

Warehouse Associate Maintenance Mechanic
Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance on all production equipment and facility system to ensure continuous, safe and efficient operations within our thermoforming manufacturing environment. This hands-on role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, maintaining product quality, and supporting production goals through technical expertise and proactive equipment care.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs on thermoforming machines, auxiliary systems, and facility equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues to restore proper function.
  • Install, align, and commission new production machinery and support equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
  • Support emergency repairs and respond promptly to equipment failures to minimize production interruption.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and process consistency.
  • Perform general fabrication, machining, and welding tasks as needed to repair or modify parts
  • Monitor equipment condition and recommend continuous improvement opportunities for efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE use.
  • Assist in managing spare parts inventory, tools, and maintenance supplies.
  • Participate in maintenance planning, reliability analysis, and root-cause investigations.
  • Qualifications
  • High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
  • 3+ years of experience in equipment and facility maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Strong knowledge of safe working methods, such as Lock Out Tag Out.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
