Warehouse Specialist 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Gunpowder, MD 21010 $28 an hour - Full-time TENAX Technologies 6 reviews $28 an hour - Full-time We are hiring a Warehouse Specialist to support shipping, receiving, and material storage operations in support of DEVCOM-CBC and other agencies as applicable. Key Responsibilities Conduct various tasks for asset pick-up of equipment of varying sizes to include preparation and palletization for transport, preparation of requisite paperwork, turn-in to the warehouse for temporary storage, or drop-off at various locations for final disposition. Deliver various material received, off-load material of various sizes, conduct inspection and sorting, item accountability, complete mandatory receipt documentation, schedule delivery of various supplies and equipment. Follow directions from the Contractor Supervisor and the COR while working independently and as a team. Understand ARMY Property guidelines to properly identify and mark items received for Property Accountability. Support customers request to facilitate shipping of various assets/items through a third-party carrier or the ARMY Defense Tracking System (DTS). Track shipments to destination and provide feedback to customers. Process shipment discrepancies, returns, and outgoing shipments. Maintain records for accountability and to an audit standard. Support the disposition of all Government owned excess material/furniture/equipment/scrap materials. Operate a variety of trucks, forklifts, and tools to perform assigned daily tasks to deliver materials or equipment (i.e., Maryland Class A Trucks, Buses, etc.). Perform Tool Crib and Supply Room Duties, tracking tools and supplies by ARMY Regulation (sign-out and sign-in). Deliver excellent customer service both to internal and external customers while working collaboratively to build professional relationships (i.e., personnel, customers, etc.). Identify safety concerns to the Contractor Supervisor and other required stakeholders. Assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to the COR as applicable. Provide and assist with the required data to the Contractor Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrix of all related matters. Ensure all administrative functions/paperwork are in order relative to receipt documentation. Ensure work orders, or internal paperwork, are accomplished on time and in the required format. Maintain a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail. Required Experience Minimum of (2) Years of Warehouse Experience High School Diploma/GED CLASS C Driver's License Active OSHA compliant Forklift Certification.
