Warehouse Specialist Location:
Perry Hall, MD Job Type:
12-Month Contract About the Role With the continued expansion of telecommunication networks and infrastructure projects, we are seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support logistics operations and ensure efficient material management across projects. This is a stand-alone role , ideal for someone who is highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing warehouse operations independently. Key Responsibilities Perform monthly inventory counts and audits using Microsoft Dynamics Coordinate daily with Project Managers (PMs) to prepare materials for field crews Pick, stage, and label materials for aerial and underground foremen Track daily material usage and update inventory records accordingly Maintain accurate inventory transfers to projects in Dynamics Ensure warehouse organization and proper labeling of all materials Manage daily check-in/check-out of materials Serve as the primary point of contact for material requests Collaborate with team members to keep the warehouse yard organized Assist with (or learn) operation of warehouse equipment such as forklifts/front-end loaders Required Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in: Warehouse operations Inventory management Logistics or material handling Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities High level of accountability and attention to detail Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check Preferred Qualifications Experience with construction materials (OSP/Aerial preferred) Experience in telecommunications or utility environments Experience with purchasing or purchase orders Familiarity with asset tracking and hardware inventory systems Forklift or equipment operation experience (or willingness to learn) Top Skills Inventory and asset management Warehouse operations Material coordination and logistics Microsoft Dynamics (or similar ERP systems) Communication and cross-functional collaboration Why Apply?
