Cherry Picker Operator / Order Picker Position Summary The Cherry Picker Operator is responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment to retrieve, move, and stock inventory within a warehouse or fulfillment center. This role supports shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory control while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Operate a cherry picker/order picker forklift to access products stored at various heights. Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners or warehouse management systems. Load, unload, move, and store materials throughout the warehouse. Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities. Verify product quantities and locations before completing transactions. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines. Inspect equipment before use and report maintenance concerns. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Meet daily productivity and quality goals. Qualifications Previous cherry picker, order picker, or forklift experience preferred. Ability to obtain or maintain forklift certification. Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Comfortable working at heights while operating a cherry picker. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
