Job Title:
Warehouse Associate Job Description This role supports day-to-day warehouse operations by moving materials, pulling and packing orders, tracking inventory, and supporting shipping activities. The position is on first shift and may include local box truck driving for candidates with an active DOT qualification. Responsibilities Move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse. Pull customer orders accurately according to pick lists or instructions. Perform pick and pack activities, including preparing items for shipment. Track inventory levels and assist with inventory control tasks. Support shipping activities by staging, loading, and organizing outgoing orders. Handle general labor and material handling tasks as needed in the warehouse. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. For contractors with an active DOT, operate a box truck locally in compliance with all applicable regulations. Essential Skills Experience working in a warehouse environment.. Proficiency in packing, material handling, and general labor tasks. Ability to support shipping and receiving activities. Capability to move and handle materials safely throughout the warehouse. Attention to detail when pulling orders and tracking inventory. Reliability in working a consistent Monday through Friday first shift schedule. Additional Skills & Qualifications DOT experience is preferred but not required. Active DOT qualification is preferred for candidates who will locally drive a box truck. Previous experience with box truck driving is a plus. Flexibility to work at warehouse locations and job sites as needed. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a warehouse environment and may include work at job sites. You will work indoors in a typical warehouse setting that involves material handling, shipping, and inventory activities. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., providing a consistent first shift workweek. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waldorf, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
