Job Description Warehouseperson Job Description Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required Computer literacy required
  • Minimum of 3 years prior warehouse experience
  • Basic inventory management skills Ability to perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Previous forklift experience
  • Able to accurately pick and pack orders Forklift certifications for all required equipment
  • Experience with forklift-mounted computers and barcode scanners (training available on the job) Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of materials for both inbound and outbound shipments. Labor intense job in a non-climate control environment.
Key Duties:
Safely pick, pack, load, and ship orders as required Review and follow special instructions for all pack sets Utilize the Branch Locator system for accurate transactions Receive and inspect incoming material from Victaulic subsidiaries, customers, and vendors Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and good inventory management practices Perform housekeeping and maintenance duties to keep the warehouse and property clean and organized Assist "will call" customers as needed Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and the code of ethics Comply with all safety guidelines and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) practices Complete other duties as assigned by the Distribution Manager or Distribution Center Coordinator This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
