Job Description

Position:
Warehouse Associate - Second Shift (Non-Exempt)
Reports To:
Warehouse Manager Job Purpose Summary Responsible for the accurate receiving, staging, loading, unloading, and movement of appliances and furniture while providing exemplary customer service. This position requires safe operation of company vehicles and equipment, adherence to all safety standards, and support of warehouse operations to ensure efficient delivery and distribution processes. Employment Requirements Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Must be eligible to operate company vehicles in accordance with company insurance requirements.
Hours:
2:00 pm to 1030 pm plus $1.00 Shift differential Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately, on time, and without damage. Load delivery trucks safely and assist with customer and team member pickups. Assist with loading and unloading shipments and processing returned products. Organize, up-stack, and maintain warehouse inventory. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and assist with trash removal and facility upkeep. Support DC cleaning tasks (sweeping, operating floor equipment such as Zamboni). Maintain company vehicles and equipment; clean trucks as needed. Support receiving operations, including preparing and printing labels. Follow all safety policies, including proper use of equipment and safe driving practices. Operate company vehicles between locations as required. Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork. Assist with additional projects and perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Frequently move appliances weighing 200+ lbs. (floor to waist). Frequently lift 50+ lbs. (waist to overhead). Frequently push/pull 50-200 lbs. Frequent gripping up to 75 lbs. Frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, and extended standing. Carry out all other assigned duties as assigned.
