Job Description

Peninsula Powder Coating seeks full-time General Laborers to join their team in Baraga, Michigan . Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred, but not required. We will train someone motivated to learn.
WHAT WE OFFER.
$15.00
  • $20.
00 per hour starting pay based on experience. Overtime available on all shifts. Company provides a monthly stipend to put towards health insurance, if needed. Supplemental insurance and life insurance. 401(k) retirement plan with 3% company matching contribution. Paid time off (vacation, sick time) and paid holidays.
SCHEDULE.
This is a full-time position. Schedules may flex based on company production demands.
Day shift:
7am
  • 3:30pm (Monday
  • Friday) Afternoon shift: 3:30pm
  • 2am (Monday
  • Thursday)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred, but not required. We will train someone motivated to learn who has an excellent work ethic. Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail. Must be mechanically inclined. Ability to clean and sort parts, organize, and clean the production floor. Ability to assemble packaging for outbound shipments (crates, pallets, boxes). Follow safe work practices at all times by using proper lifting techniques, wearing appropriate protective footwear, and helping maintain a clean, safe work environment. Willingness to assist other production areas when needed. You are energetic, reliable, and work well individually and as a team member. You work well under time constraints and can ensure deadlines are met.
