Job Description

Seasonal/Temporary General Laborer - Utility position requirements include, but are not limited to, general plant labor and clean-up of production areas; maintenance, observation, monitoring and reporting any conditions that could lead to product nonconformity or other irregularity; being trained in various entry-level production positions and filling in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demands. Operating small equipment; replacing or assisting other workers as needed or directed; and other duties as assigned by management. Millwright experience and/or experienced equipment operators preferred but not required.
Responsibilities & Duties:
General labor and clean-up of production areas. Observe, monitor and report any conditions which could lead to product nonconformity. Operate heavy equipment/machinery in a safe and appropriate manner. Clean, inspect, and maintain/secure all equipment in compliance with MSHA, and company policies and guidelines. Replace or assist other works as needed or directed. Other duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Willing and able to work overtime and rotating shifts Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form; perform basic math functions. Basic computer skills Perform physical labor safely in noisy, dusty, and other potentially harsh working conditions.
