We are seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Panel Builder / Warehouse Support Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling building control panels based on engineering drawings and blueprints, supporting warehouse operations, and assisting with general facility maintenance. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with tools, reading technical drawings, operating warehouse equipment, and performing a variety of tasks that support day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Assemble building control panels for HVAC, heating, cooling, and security systems using engineering drawings and blueprints. Read and interpret panel layout drawings to accurately install and position components. Mount, organize, and assemble electrical and control components according to specifications. Ensure completed panels meet quality standards and project requirements. Maintain a clean and organized panel assembly workspace. Assist with panel testing, troubleshooting, and modifications as needed. Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and equipment. Pick, stage, and prepare materials for panel assembly and project needs. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Operate forklifts and hi-lo equipment to move materials throughout the facility. Maintain accurate inventory and assist with warehouse organization. Assist with shipping and receiving activities as required. Perform general building and facility maintenance tasks. Support minor repairs and upkeep of equipment, tools, and facility infrastructure. Identify and report maintenance concerns to management. Travel locally as needed to pick up materials, deliver equipment, or support project-related activities. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and component layout diagrams. Experience assembling mechanical or electrical components. Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory management. Forklift/Hi-Lo experience or ability to obtain certification. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. Preferred Previous experience building electrical or building automation control panels. Familiarity with HVAC controls, building automation systems (BAS), or security system controls. General maintenance or facilities experience.
