JOB DUTIES
Keep parts department up-to-date on delivery schedule; Maintain cleanliness and operability of delivery truck; Obeys all traffic laws and follows established traffic procedures; Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures; Observe and report customer information, including customer buying habits and competitive intrusion; Other duties as assigned; Perform other duties as directed by Management; Fill customer orders and ready them for delivery; Verifies the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers; Load Parts trucks in a safe manner, securing all items in the bed of the truck; Retrieve parts returns and report them to Parts Manager or responsible Counter Person; Complete vehicle safety checks per company policy and operates the vehicle within the safety guidelines; Presents bill and receipts and collects payment for goods delivered or loaded; Pick up parts and equipment from customers, satellite stores, and vendors per; Follow all delivery and pick-up processes and protocol to ensure compliance and accuracy. Properly check in our daily order, as well as orders throughout the day if available. Help maintain inventory heath by participating in cycle counts. Placing new stock in the proper bin location.
JOB REQUIRMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent; Prompt and courteous demeanor; Valid Driver's License with Clean Driving record; Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; Excellent customer service skills; Must be detail oriented; Ability to drive vehicles with a standard (manual) and automatic transmission; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed; Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record; Excellent organizational skills; Ability to occasionally lift or move 100 pounds from floor to waist with assistance; Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals; Proficient computer skills. Ability to use a smart phone or hand-held device; A valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards.
