General Laborer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to perform daily operations of Industrial Waste Water Systems. The role involves ensuring water quality and system performance meet contractual limits. A mechanically inclined individual who understands tools such as pumps and wrenches will thrive in this position. Responsibilities Operate Industrial Waste Water Systems on a day-to-day basis. Ensure collection, analysis, and water quality are within contractual limits. Maintain system performance according to specified guidelines. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new skills. Understanding of basic tools such as pumps and wrenches. High School diploma or GED. Experience in industrial or mechanical work, with one to two years preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in water collection and analysis is beneficial. Work Environment This role involves working night shifts in a manufacturing facility, characterized by a slow and quiet environment. The alternating shifts are 36 hours one week (Friday to Sunday) and 48 hours the next (Friday to Monday), from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flat Rock, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.95 - $20.95/hr.
