Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated outdoor maintenance assistant to join our team at a lakefront resort facility of 8 cottages in Lakeport, MI. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various tools and equipment. This role is essential in supporting property maintenance roles as needed. This position mainly is part time and flexible, however would be needed on an on call basis for emergency issues. The resort is seasonal and we will need someone approximately May 2026 - September 2026. Duties Assemble components using hand tools and power tools as required. Participate in outdoor maintenance projects and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency. Experience Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, zero turn lawn mower, backhoe and bucket (john deer) is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Familiarity with light home maintenance (ie: troubleshooting and lighting a pilot, troubleshooting minor plumbing issues and fixing) Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual tasks.
