Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operates Powered Industrial Truck safely and efficiently and in accordance with MIOSHA and company standards.
- Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Loads and unloads racks and/or containers onto trucks.
- Inventories materials on work floor.
- Weighs material/products, records weight on tags, labels and/or production schedules.
- Loads/unloads materials onto and/or off pallets, skids or lifting device.
- Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank or replaces liquefied gas tank.
- Ensures correct tagging is on all containers prior to moving.
- Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment.
- Completes safety and operational checks daily.
- Help in departmental operation wherever necessary.
- Keeps work areas clean and orderly.
- Participates in continuous improvement activities.
- Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor.
