General Labor - Washroom Onsite |
Full-Time Starting Pay:
$15 per hour ________________________________________________________________________
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Plant Support person to maintain sanitation, assist with washroom responsibilities, and keep production areas clean and stocked. This position plays a vital role in upholding our commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and overall plant efficiency.
Schedule:
Start time typically begins at 6:00 AM (subject to change based on business needs) 8-10-hour shifts Monday-Friday with occasional weekends as needed Must be flexible with shift start and end times
Key Responsibilities:
Remove and properly dispose of trash and scrap from all production areas Sanitize equipment including barrels, smoke trucks, and smoke sticks Assist washroom staff with cleaning and sanitation duties Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of loading docks and surrounding areas Supply materials and tools to production teams as needed Help the Receiving Clerk move tubs and containers during receiving Operate and maintain company-issued pallet jacks and Hilo (certification provided) Follow all company policies and procedures including: GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) SOPs/SSOPs MIOSHA and Lockout/Tagout requirements Report any food safety or sanitation concerns to your supervisor immediately Support food safety programs by ensuring compliance and accountability
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to work in a cold, damp OR hot environment and year-round weather conditions Ability to lift and push heavy items (up to 60 lbs.) frequently Comfortable standing for 8+ hours per day and performing repetitive physical tasks Willingness to obtain company-issued forklift/pallet jack certification
