Job Description

NOTE:
Must have previous Material Handling experience and a valid drivers license.
JOB SUMMARY
The Material Handler will be responsible for moving raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse and manufacturing facilities. A positive attitude coupled with outstanding punctuality and attendance is a must-have for this position.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Below is a list of the job functions performed in this position. Other duties may be assigned. Perform all material-handling duties in the assigned area in a safe and efficient manner. Pull inventory and move stock to ensure assembly operators have the parts needed for production while maintaining FIFO inventory procedures. Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products. Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and on time. Notify management of any warehouse, equipment, or safety concerns. Consolidate and manage recycling materials. Assist with area inventory counts as needed. Continuously work to improve warehouse material flow and overall cleanliness. Remain open to new ideas and process improvements from inventory and manufacturing teams. Evaluate results and provide timely feedback. Learn and provide backup support for shipping and receiving associates. Report safety, quality, production, and personnel concerns to management immediately. Stop shipments or production processes when quality or safety concerns arise.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, an individual should meet these minimum education and experience requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 2+ years of forklift driving experience preferred Must have a valid driver's license
Pay:
$16.50 - $19.00 per hour
