General Laborers

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in wood products, is seeking dedicated General Laborers to join their team. As a General Laborer, you will be supporting the operations within the Veneer Mill and Sawmill departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and attention to safety, which will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.

• Shift:

• 1st Shift 6AM-2:30PM or Similar
• What's the Job?
• + Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks in the sawmill and veneer mill to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

+ Assist with piling four-foot boards and whole panels, ensuring proper stacking and handling. + Relieve operators for breaks and support various operational functions as directed by supervisors. + Operate manual and powered material handling equipment such as hand dollies, chain hoists, and forklifts (if qualified). + Support training of other department employees to promote safety and productivity.

• + Ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely at all times. + Physical capability to lift and move weights up to 50 pounds regularly. + Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. + Willingness to wear personal protective equipment and adhere to safety protocols. + Good attendance and reliability to support continuous operations.
