Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to construct, modify, and assemble specialized shipping boxes directly within our warehouse. In this role, you will build made-to-order boxes, install protective custom inserts, and ensure every container matches exact dimensions. You will combine hands-on fabrication with traditional warehouse duties to ensure high-value or uniquely shaped products are perfectly protected for transit.
Responsibilities Box Fabrication :
Measure, cut, score, and assemble custom-sized corrugated boxes.
Insert Installation :
Position custom foam, cardboard dividers, or molded inserts securely.
Blueprint Interpretation :
Read design spec sheets to build boxes to exact customer dimensions.
Tool Operation :
Safely use box cutters, scoring tools, industrial staplers, and tape machines.
Quality Inspection :
Verify completed boxes match dimensions and are free of structural defects.
Material Management :
Monitor stock levels of raw cardboard, foam sheets, and packaging adhesives.
Product Fitting :
Test-fit products into completed custom boxes to guarantee a secure ride.
Warehouse Safety :
Maintain a clean, hazard-free workstation by safely disposing of scrap materials.
Inventory Tracking :
Log completed custom orders into the warehouse management system.
Qualifications Creative Mind :
Ability to think outside the box, and come up with solutions to problems on the spot if needed.
Measurement Skills :
Ability to accurately read a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch.
Basic Math :
Strong ability to add, subtract, and multiply fractions or decimals for sizing.
Manual Dexterity :
High hand-eye coordination for precise cutting, scoring, and folding of materials.
Physical Stamina :
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Detail-Oriented :
Keen eye for spotting structural flaws, incorrect dimensions, or box defects.
Tool Safety :
Prior experience safely using utility knives, heavy-duty staplers, tape guns, nail guns, and running a CNC router.
Blueprint Reading :
Ability to follow technical drawings, spec sheets, or written size guidelines.
Reliability :
Proven track record of punctuality and consistent daily attendance.
Education :
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical fabrication experience. Ability to Lift up to 60 lbs.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
