Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated Cutting Technician / Warehouse Associate to join our team! This energetic role combines precise cutting operations with essential warehouse duties, supporting our production flow and ensuring smooth materials handling. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with hand tools, and have a passion for maintaining safety standards, this position is perfect for you! We are hoping to train the right candidate to grow with our company and gain more responsibilities. This is a first shift position, working 6 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtime when needed. Duties Operate cutting machinery with mechanical knowledge to produce accurate material cuts according to specifications Cut materials to pattern specifications Load and unload materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, while adhering to OSHA safety guidelines Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control Handle materials safely during loading, unloading, and storage, including heavy lifting and materials handling tasks Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, conducting regular safety inspections and equipment checks Preform other related duties as assigned Skills Proven experience shipping & receiving, and materials handling Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks to load & unload trucks safely and efficiently Mechanical knowledge of hand tools Ability to stand, bend, reach & kneel for periods of frequency Ability to lift and move 50 lbs Self motivated - able to work at a fast pace to keep up with production demands Dependable with excellent attendance Experience with inventory management Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking periods Construction or industrial background is a plus; previous warehouse experience is required Excellent attention to detail, ability to decipher drawings and follow cutting plans Additional Notes This job description is not designed to cover all duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
