Job Description
The responsibility of the Shipping Material Handler is to load and unload trucks of supplies and plants for Steadfast Shipping both by hand and hilo. He/She also contributes to the orderly organization of stock in the warehouse. He/She prepares plants for shipment by loading, checking quality, and securing accurate shipments. He/She, as the Shipping Material Handler, is service minded and values working collaboratively as a team, typically on-site, with a traditional Monday- Friday work week so as to be available to, responsive and supportive of colleagues and customers.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean record is a must.
- Mission Driven-Hard working, helpful, thoughtful, team oriented and compelled to do what is right for others, the environment and for the world.
- Experience working with heavy equipment (forklift, hi-lo, skid steer, truck and trailer, bobcat, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Familiar with hand tools and good with power tools.
- Enthusiastic about working outdoors (and indoors to a lesser degree).
