Job Description
This hourly position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for operating all processing equipment, including forklift operation at optimum efficiencies, quality and safety. Monday-Friday Regular shift 11pm-7am with expected overtime as needed $16 + $1.50 Shift Premium Responsible to conduct the proper start-up operation and shut down of all processing equipment, operate the processing equipment under prescribed operating and safety procedures. Operate material handling equipment as prescribed under company safety procedures. Conduct prescribed process control tests with accuracy and notify supervision when operation is unsafe to be brought back under control. Assist with material handling, facility maintenance, shipping and receiving, and quality assurance as required. Make recommendations on improving processing procedures, equipment and material handling in areas of efficiencies and safety. Operate outside your classification as needed and handle all raw materials for processing as prescribed by company safety procedures. 1+ year experience as a hilo driver/material handler - reliable attendance - Steel toe boots/shoes required -
