Job Description
Job Summary:
Material Handler will be responsible for kitting parts according to blueprints and will deliver parts/kits to various production areas. Material Handlers will also keep accurate inventory of parts/material. Provide a clean, organized, and safe work environment in and around buildings. They will adhere to all Bandit safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures.Duties and Responsibilities:
Load, unload and move incoming/outgoing materials/products to varies areas. Ensure work bays have materials to build/assemble Kit material/parts according to blueprints and distribute to production work areas. Ensure proper organization and placement of material/parts in the shop and/or warehouse. Identify and label materials, record their location in the inventory system to maintain accurate inventory. Circulate material on shelfs. Put parts away according to the inventory system. Operate fork trucks, cranes and/or other equipment to move material. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Ability to read a tape measure, basic shop math, and able to read a blueprint. Ability to use a tape measure and other measuring instruments. Basic written and verbal communication skills Complete Bandit's crane and/or forklift safety trainingPhysical Requirements:
Frequently stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, pinch, grasp, and/or bend Requires employee to work both inside/outside in heat/cold, and/or wet/humid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injury. Frequently lift 50 pounds Occasionally lift 60 poundsSimilar remote jobs
