American Soy Products (ASP), a division of Morgan Foods, Inc., specializes in co-pacing aseptic broths and specialty aseptic products. We are hiring Material Handlers to support our production and warehouse operations in Saline and Romulus, Michigan. As a Material Handler, you will help keep products, materials, and inventory moving safely and efficiently throughout the facility. You will play an important role in supporting warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, food safety, sanitation, and on-time distribution. What You'll Do Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment Move, stage, and store finished products Load and unload trailers Complete accurate inventory transactions Use RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area Follow all safety, food-handling, sanitation, and compliance procedures Support team and operational needs in a fast-paced environment What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent preferred, material handling experience may be substituted for education requirement Forklift experience, including sit-down and reach-truck operation required Experience with RF scan guns and warehouse inventory systems preferred Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy Excellent attendance and a strong work ethic Flexibility and willingness to support changing operational needs Must be a team player and work collaboratively Physical and Work Environment Material handlers may work in warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing environments with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, moving equipment, and warehouse traffic. The role requires frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and forklift operation. Team members must be able to safely handle pallets stored up to three racks high, follow established safety and food-handling procedures, communicate effectively, and remain dependable in a fast-paced environment. This job description outlines the primary responsibilities of the position and is not intended to include every duty that may be assigned. Shifts C urrent Operational Schedule is a 5/7 schedule with 2 days off every other week•LOTS OF OT!
