Warehouse Associate - Back-Up Driver

Summary Our Saginaw warehouse is seeking a high-energy person with good organizational skills and some computer experience, along with excellent communication and time management skills. Primary responsibilities for the warehouse position include product put-away, retrieval and packing; accuracy is a must! Additional responsibility will be serving as an occasional backup driver. Qualified candidate must have a good driving record with chauffeur's license and be able to drive a 26' delivery vehicle as a back-up driver. Candidates must be able to obtain a DOT medical card. Although the primary position of warehouse associate is 1st shift, the backup driving position is 3rd shift. Must be at least 18 years old. Applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of this job.

Essential Job Functions:

Safely assist in loading and unloading trucks. Pick and pack orders accurately for timely shipping. Maintain organized inventory within the warehouse environment. Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure smooth operations. Perform heavy lifting (50lb) as required to move products safely. Ability to climb stairs, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Computer skills including data entry, MS Outlook, and email. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals. Performs other work-related duties as assigned. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA standards. Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen. Safely drive a 26 ft box truck following all DOT and company regulations Qualifications Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
