As a Residential Mover, you'll assist customers with local and long-distance residential moves, loading and unloading household items, furniture, appliances, and boxes while delivering exceptional customer service. Team members are notified when moving opportunities become available and can accept shifts based on their availability. Responsibilities Load and unload household goods safely and efficiently Pack, wrap, and protect furniture and fragile items Lift, carry, and transport furniture, appliances, and boxes Assist with truck loading and unloading Maintain a professional appearance and attitude Provide outstanding customer service at every job Follow company safety procedures and moving protocols Work effectively as part of a moving crew Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining quality standards Communicate professionally with customers and supervisors Help maintain cleanliness of equipment and job sites RequirementsRequired Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Ability to lift and carry 75+ pounds repeatedly Reliable transportation to and from job sites Valid driver's license or reliable means of transportation preferred Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout shifts Smartphone with internet access for shift notifications and communication Authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Previous moving experience Warehouse experience Delivery experience Construction or general labor experience Customer service experience Experience driving moving trucks (not required) Physical Requirements Frequently lift 50-75+ pounds Move furniture up and down stairs Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Bend, squat, push, pull, and carry items for extended periods Ability to work 4-12 hour shifts depending on job size Scheduling & Availability This is an on-demand position , meaning work is offered as jobs become available.
