Job Description
Job Summary Fully participate in and support the Horizon Steel Quality System Comply with safety requirements in area, specifically hard hat and safety glasses Identify different grades of steel Assemble separator arms Identify problems or defects as steel is rewound on recoiler Remove coils from recoiler Apply OD bands to coils Document cut #, coil dimensions and heat # on each coil. Responsible for work area being kept clean and orderly. Report any quality concerns, including stopping production to prevent a nonconformance, to the immediate supervisor. Minimum Qualifications May or may not have experience in a metal manufacturing environment. Knowledge and Skills Preferred Must possess basic reading, writing and math skills
