Job Description

This position is responsible for a variety of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving of material; activity regarding inventory and maintenance of tooling; facilities, equipment and repair; delivery of tools and materials to job sites/suppliers; and other duties as required.
EXPERIENCE, LICENSING & CERTIFICATIONS
Annual completion of MIOSHA and Employer recommended safety training. Failure to maintain MIOSHA training can limit our ability to continue to provide employment. Failure to complete Employer recommended safety training can limit your ability to maintain your current status. Must hold a CDL or Chauffeurs license. Must have MDOT Exam Card.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge of methods for moving goods and material in cost efficient manner. Knowledge of proper method of hooking up trailers and securing the load. Knowledge of Powered Industrial Truck Safety and operation. Requires appropriate skills in dealing with customers, fellow employees, and management. This includes assessing customer needs, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Must be able to work with people and maintain relationships. Identifies complex problems and reviews related information to evaluate options and implement solutions. Performs routine maintenance on equipment to determine when and what type of maintenance is needed. Determines causes, and repairs tooling and machinery as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintain a clean, neatly organized, and efficient warehouse, facilities, and property. Process tooling requests, and returns, Transfer materials, supplies, tools, and equipment to and from job sites and warehouses as required. Work with foreman and vendors on material returns; work with vendors over damaged goods to obtain replacements. Schedule and monitor shipping activity with outside vendors (i.e., Kendall, UPS), to ensure delivery times and locations are accurately coordinated. Notify PM/AM, foreman of arriving materials. Schedule delivery, or stage in project materials storage areas. Maintain maintenance for all delivery trucks, including trailers. Ensure routine maintenance is performed, including oil change and re-fueling. Winter months includes shoveling snow and salting walkways. Coordinate with Facilities and Tooling Manager to work at customer lunch activities. Including driving lunch wagon to customer site, cooking the meal and all cleanup
