Our Wayland location is currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic and supportive team. Requirements:
A warehouse associate will be trained on the company products and their storage location, color and product identification numbers. A warehouse associate will also be required to operate forklifts, follow safety procedures, communicate courteously with customers, work with other employees, and follow the instructions of supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Associate, you'll be a key part of both our operations and our customer experience.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Greeting customers promptly and professionally as they arrive for pickups Verifying customer orders and ensuring accuracy before loading Assisting customers with loading materials safely and efficiently into their vehicles Picking and preparing customer orders with accuracy and care Stocking and organizing inventory throughout the warehouse Loading outbound delivery trucks and unloading inbound shipments Completing shipping documentation and maintaining accurate records Performing additional duties as assigned to support team and customer needs Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment Following all safety protocols and contributing to a culture of safety Adhering to company policies as outlined in the employee handbook Michigan Aluminum offers a competitive benefits package including paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance, 401(k), and more. This position also includes a $500 sign-on bonus, payable after 90 days of successful employment.
