In this role, you will be an integral part of various projects, assisting with residential and commercial painting, surface preparation, and general labor tasks. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills across multiple trades while contributing to transforming spaces into beautiful, functional environments. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer as needed Assist with the application of paint using airless spray equipment, brushes, or rollers on residential and commercial projects Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure accurate work execution Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as trimming, framing, masonry work, or fixture installation Support renovation efforts by performing carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, framing, drywall installation, and restoration work Maintain a clean and organized worksite by managing debris, tools, and materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Requirements Prior experience in construction painting or related fields such as industrial painting or construction site work is highly desirable Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, welding equipment, airless paint spraying systems, and masonry tools Basic math skills for measurements, mixing paints, and calculating surface areas Experience with plastering, stucco application, caulking, masonry work, concrete finishing or restoration projects is a plus Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise project execution Handyman experience or skills in renovation projects including fixture installation or maintenance tasks is advantageous Excellent physical stamina for standing, lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders/scaffolding and performing manual labor over extended periods Join us if you're eager to grow your career in the construction industry!
