Temporary | Summer Benefits of the material handler: Weekly pay for all hours worked Stable first-shift schedule Supportive and safety-focused environment Opportunity to extend past summer Duties of the material handler: Load and unload trucks for shipping and receiving Stage products for upcoming shipments and production Coordinate with supervisors to move materials to the yard Ensure all materials are handled safely and stored properly Process paperwork including BOLs, invoices, and certs Handle steel offloading and palletizing tasks Perform daily forklift pre-trip safety inspections Requirements of the material handler: Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted Physical ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb equipment Reliability for 8-12 hour shifts as needed Comfort working in environments with temperature changes Compliance with all site-specific PPE requirements Steel toe boots required
