Job Description
Working with Christian publishers, Bethany Press provides solutions for book production, printing, binding, and warehousing. We produce millions of life-changing books, and we are looking for self-managed, self-motivated, creators who want to be a part of this accelerating business.
Ensure a clean, healthy, and safe work environmentInitiate and engage in housekeeping chores during downtimeBe an excellent steward of company resources, including labor time and finances.
Perform all other duties as assigned Position qualifications:
Have previous fork-lift & clamp truck experienceA desire to serve and extend Gods Kingdom in the world.
Alignment with the Vision and Values of Bethany PressAbility to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for entire production shift plus crouch, crawl, pull, reach & endure repetitive motions.
Personal drive and ambition with potential of growing with our organization.
Possess the ability to communicate in a positive & effective manner both verbal & written
Hours:
Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:00 pmHourly Rate:
$19.00Position Responsibilities:
Perform material handling to meet manufacturings needsReceive and store inbound materialsSupply manufacturing with materials and product within the required timelineTransport and store work in processCollect and recycle waste materialsConduct inventory and cycle counts as required Demonstrate Operational ExcellenceExhibit flexibility while handling multiple projects and changing prioritiesEffectively communicate with co-workersOperate forklifts, clamp trucks or other equipment following established safety guidelines Follow all company and department processes and proceduresCommunicate and deliver service that elicits a WOW response from your customers.Ensure a clean, healthy, and safe work environmentInitiate and engage in housekeeping chores during downtimeBe an excellent steward of company resources, including labor time and finances.
