Job Description
About Total Displays Total Displays is a full-service trade show exhibit house with more than 40 years in business. We manage every part of a client's trade show presence, including design, production, graphics, freight, labor, storage, fulfillment, and full program management. As a family-owned company, we compete on relationships and execution rather than size, and three principles guide every client interaction: listen, collaborate, and achieve. Position Summary We are hiring a Warehouse Associate who likes variety in their work. No two days look the same here: this role is a mix of warehouse work, office and desk work, and hands-on building and prep of trade show exhibits for our clients. You will keep our warehouse organized and running, get shipments out the door accurately and on time, and serve as the last set of eyes on every order before it reaches a client. We are looking for a reliable, deadline-driven, and very detail-oriented person who takes pride in getting things right. We provide training on our processes and forklift certification for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Organize the warehouse and keep it clean, safe, and functional; create and maintain a labeling and storage system so materials and supplies are easy to find. Track warehouse supplies and inventory, and reorder as needed. Receive, inspect, stage, and ship exhibit materials, rental components, and freight; prepare and process shipments through FedEx and UPS, and international carriers as needed. Pick, pack, crate, and prepare shipments for trade shows, ensuring accuracy and on-time dispatch against firm show deadlines. Build, assemble, prep, inspect, clean, and refurbish trade show exhibits for clients, including light woodworking and laminating. Operate a forklift and other equipment to load and unload trucks, and work safely on ladders (training and forklift certification provided). Maintain organized, accurate inventory of rental and client-owned assets. Provide customer service via email, phone, and in person, and serve as the point person ensuring each customer's order is complete, correct, and out the door on time. Required Qualifications Experience processing shipments through FedEx and UPS. Ability to lift 75 to 100+ pounds (team lifts available for the heaviest items) and to work frequently on ladders, remaining active and on your feet throughout the shift. Strong reliability, attention to detail, a deadline-driven mindset, and dependable attendance. A customer-first mindset with clear communication across email, phone, and in person; this role is the final checkpoint before a shipment reaches the client. Comfort learning and using basic inventory and computer systems. Valid driver's license. We train on our processes and trade show specifics, and certify the right candidate on forklift operation. Preferred Qualifications Woodworking and/or laminating experience (a big plus, but not required). International shipping experience. Current forklift certification. Prior warehouse, shipping and receiving, logistics, or trade show/event experience. Experience with inventory or order management systems. Compensation & Logistics $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience, with room to grow as you certify and take on the full scope of the role. Full-time, weekday day shift. Occasional overtime around show ship deadlines.
