Position Overview:
The Vision Companies is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate - Shipping & Inventory to join a growing warehouse team in Edina, MN. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with technology, takes pride in organization and accuracy, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable using computers and barcode scanning systems, enjoys learning new technology, and is committed to ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Forklift experience is a plus but not required, as training is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving Accurately receive, pick, pack, and ship customer orders Verify product quantities and inspect shipments for accuracy Print shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time Inventory Management Utilize handheld barcode scanners to track inventory and process orders Enter and update inventory information within the warehouse management system Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits Maintain accurate inventory records and organization throughout the warehouse Warehouse Operations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow work instructions and warehouse procedures Read and follow work instructions written in English Assist with additional warehouse responsibilities as needed Collaborate with team members to support daily warehouse operations and production goals
Qualifications:
Required Ability to read and follow work instructions in English Comfortable using computers, barcode scanners, and warehouse software Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to learn new technology quickly Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Positive attitude and ability to work well independently and as part of a team Willingness to assist wherever needed to support the team Preferred Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience Previous experience with warehouse management systems Forklift experience (training provided if needed)
Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment with frequent computer and scanner use Fast-paced environment focused on shipping accuracy and inventory control Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift Collaborative team environment with opportunities to learn new skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive movements Manual dexterity to operate scanners, computers, and warehouse equipment safely
