Job Description

We are employee owned and relationship powered . 2nd Shift Position with a start time of 12PM to 2PM, Monday- Friday.
POSITION SUMMARY
Located at our Cottage Grove, MN location, the person in this position would assist with receipt, transfer, and storage of incoming freight, as well as picking and preparing orders for shipments in our Building Materials division.Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Unloading incoming freight, verifying product against enclosed packing lists, sorting material by end destination and putting away excess stock. Equipment Usage
- Using fork trucks and order picking equipment. Loading Products
- Loading outbound transfer trucks. Preparing Orders
- Accurately pulling customer orders and preparing material for shipment Safety
- Securing and labeling products for delivery Process
- Transferring picked orders to staging area for delivery per the delivery schedule. Open Communication
- Assisting in cleaning and maintenance of warehouse. Teamwork
- Performing other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor At Lumbermen's, we pride ourselves on treating our customers like family and delivering exceptional service.
PPE. REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School diploma/GED required. Prior warehouse experience is preferred. Previous Fork Lift Experience requiredREQUIRED SKILLS
Strong communication skills Safe working practices Natural detail-orientation Ability to accurately pull orders and load/unload trucks.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to operate a forklift Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 75lbs.WHAT WE OFFER
