Materials Handler 1 - Weekend Shift

Responsibilities Company vehicle driving requirements estimated at 10; must have valid drivers license and acceptable driving record. Unpacks, examines, counts and labels incoming material. Records receipts and reports discrepancies. Performs receiving, put away, kitting, picking, packing and shipping of goods. Stock and organize parts and inventory in the warehouse to ensure accurate inventory counts and readily accessible materials. Ensure proper product handling and storage to prevent abuse, misuse, damage or deterioration. Obtain, prepare aircraft parts for shipment to the Aftermarket customer base. Maintain an inventory control and management system, including work order closing. Support all facility regulatory and safety codes. Qualifications Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Drivers license a must. Warehouse operations experience preferred, not required Ability to lift heavy materials Knowledge of inventory control Ability to operate and utilize handheld inventory management scanner required Ability to operate computers with the Windows operating system Knowledge on aircraft/parts is a plus Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines. Ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
