Warehouse Transfer Associate Job Description The Warehouse Transfer Associate plays a key role in maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe distribution environment by handling high-volume product transfers, order picking, and inventory activities. This role involves lifting, use of warehouse equipment, and careful attention to detail to ensure accurate movement and processing of products within a fast-paced warehouse setting. Responsibilities Lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis. Use rolling ladders up to 12 feet high to access products stored at various rack levels safely. Wrap pallets securely to prepare products for transfer, storage, and shipping. Push heavy flatbeds and fill totes with product to support daily transfer and picking operations. Walk, stand, bend, and lift for up to 8 hours per shift while maintaining productivity and safety standards. Read small print and match numbers and words accurately to ensure correct product identification and order accuracy. Use RF scan guns to perform order picking, inventory checks, and product tracking as part of daily warehouse tasks. Perform order picking and packing in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting established performance goals. Operate pallet jacks and work around other material-handling equipment in racking zones safely and efficiently. Work Environment This role is based in a large distribution center.. The facility operates Monday through Friday, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
