TEMPORARY WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

We are seeking a Temporary Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team and contribute to the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations.Location:

Temp (90 days) with potential to convert to full-time permanent positionPay Rate:
$18.00 Responsibilities Utilize material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to transport goods within the warehouse Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments for accuracy and quality Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to customers Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring aisles are clear and emergency exits are unobstructed (5S concepts) Adhere to all company and OSHA safety guidelines and protocols, promoting a culture of safety throughout the warehouse Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse processes and achieve productivity goals Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies Perform general warehouse duties as assigned and be flexible with varying responsibilities Qualifications Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record - this is essential! Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required for motivated individuals Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks Strong emphasis on safety with a track record of following safety protocols and OSHA guidelines Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks (10-25 lbs routinely, up to 50 lbs with assistance) Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory records Effective communication, writing, and verbal skills and the ability to work well within a team Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking High school diploma or equivalent Valid State Driver's License required Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check Must be 18+ years of age to advance to machine operator positions Preferred Qualifications OSHA 10-hour certification Forklift certification (OSHA certified) Experience with turrets or cherry pickers Previous experience as a standing forklift operator Understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures Schedule Saturday/Sunday 6am-2:30pm availability prioritized Overtime opportunities Weekends Flexibility available for current college students or those seeking part-time work Benefits Work in a positive culture where people want to come in everyday Opportunities for rapid career advancement within the organization Path to becoming a trained forklift operator with increased pay Incremental compensation increases based on training milestones achieved within the first 90 days Safe and inclusive working environment Ongoing training and development programs Physical Requirements Ability to stand for 8-10 hours daily Capable of moving boxes weighing 10 to 25 lbs routinely Walking throughout the warehouse, potentially covering several miles per day Bending, stooping, and kneeling to pick up items from low shelves or the floor Reaching above shoulder height to access high shelves or storage areas Pushing and pulling hand trucks, pallet jacks, and carts loaded with merchandise To Apply Please submit your resume, a cover letter detailing your relevant experience, and any relevant certifications to akeyes@barehome.com or wyeargan@barehome.com .
