Direct Hire! About thisOpportunity:
In this role, you'll safely operate a stand-up forklift to move and transport materials throughout the warehouse. You'll also help keep operations running smoothly by completing daily equipment checks and basic forklift maintenance. In addition, you'll use a bar code scanner to track inventory and ensure materials are accurately recorded and organized.What You'll Be Doing:
- Operate powered industrial equipment (forklift) in accordance with OSHA guidelines
- Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times
- Perform routine and assigned housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe work environment
- Operate material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse
- Check-in inbound product and tag product accordingly
- Perform various receiving functions, such as unloading trucks and putting away product in the correct overstock location
- Inspect all power equipment and complete the safety inspection sheet before operation What makes you a great fit:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred
- One or more years of Stand up forklift experience
- Preferred
