Job Description

About the
Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Material Handler Trainee to join our team in the Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry. As a Material Handler Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in the movement of materials throughout the facility, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to production lines. You will work closely with our experienced Material Handlers to learn the necessary skills to become a successful Material Handler. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within the company.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Basic computer skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment Forklift certification Experience with inventory management systems
Responsibilities:
Assist in the movement of materials throughout the facility Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to production lines Learn and follow all safety procedures and guidelines Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Skills:
As a Material Handler Trainee, you will use your attention to detail and physical strength to move materials throughout the facility. You will also use your communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors. Basic computer skills will be necessary to learn and use inventory management systems. Forklift certification, while not required, is a preferred qualification that will allow you to operate forklifts to move materials more efficiently. Overall, this role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
