Full Job Description FT Material Handler – Backup Sandblaster Safety Sensitive Position 4-10 Hour Days Monday thru Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm Legacy Building Solutions has Material Handler positions available for independent, dependable, and efficient team members. You'll assist in the preparation of materials in our paint shop and to be a back up sandblaster. Legacy Building Solutions is an established and growing fabric building manufacturer located near St Cloud, MN. We are seeking a quality individual to help us reach our next level of success. Legacy Building Solutions focuses on continuous improvement, safety, quality and efficiency. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position This is a full-time position that will be working as a material handler in our paint shop.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Loading/unloading of materials Steel processing Welding; GMAC, steel and aluminum Assists in the preparation of materials to be shipped to construction sites Conveys materials and items from receiving or production area to storage or other designated areas Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style or product code Forklift operation safely and responsibly Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment Operate power equipment, including power tools Perform other duties as necessaryESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Needs to be mechanically inclined and with experience with using hand tools Positive attitude and team player Effective communication skills and ability to take direction Ability for cross training in other areas of the plant. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear. stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Work in extreme cold and heat; and/or wet and humid conditions.
