In line with Minnesota state laws Flexible scheduling opportunities Position Overview We are seeking a proactive, organized, and hands-on Warehouse & Trade Show Prep Technician to support our fast-paced trade show and event technology operations. This role combines warehouse coordination, equipment preparation, logistics management, project support, and client-focused operational assistance. The ideal candidate is forward-thinking, adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrives in an environment where priorities shift quickly. This individual will play a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations while supporting successful event execution and internal team coordination. Warehouse & Equipment Operations Prepare, test, clean, and pack audiovisual and production equipment for trade shows and events Pull and verify client assets, hardware, and case kits for accuracy Maintain organized inventory systems and warehouse records using FLEX Rental Solutions Replenish stock supplies, hardware, and job boxes Track incoming and outgoing shipments and maintain shipment documentation Assist with equipment troubleshooting, quality control, and light technical repairs Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment safely Maintain overall warehouse cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness Assist with light facility maintenance and general warehouse upkeep Event & Project Coordination Support project managers with pull sheets, manifests, and operational coordination Assist with booth staging, AV mounting, and exhibit preparation Coordinate communication between internal teams, vendors, technical crews, and operations staff Monitor project timelines and communicate status updates regarding equipment needs or shortages Help ensure projects and events are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule Client & Operational Support Support customer service and client communication needs throughout project execution Assist with troubleshooting operational challenges in fast-paced production environments Maintain accurate operational records and inventory tracking documentation Build strong working relationships through professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail Demonstrate flexibility and strong multitasking abilities during high-demand production schedules Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Degree or coursework in logistics, operations, production, or related field preferred 3-5 years of warehouse, logistics, operations, event production, or related experience preferred Experience in audiovisual, tradeshow, or live event environments is a plus but not required Skills & Attributes Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and proactively without constant oversight Forward-thinking mindset with strong attention to detail Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities and fast-paced workflows Experience with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems FLEX Rental Solutions experience is a plus Resourceful and comfortable using hand and power tools Professional, reliable, eager to learn, and team-oriented Work Conditions Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Comfortable working in a warehouse and production environment Occasional nights or weekends may be required based on event schedules Occasional local errands or pickups using personal vehicle may be required
