Job Overview The Warehouse Distribution Assistant levels 1, 2 & 3 is responsible for activities which assist other warehouse personnel in performing their various functions. Responsibilities increase with each level upon successfully passing required written and functional testing. Activities include, but are not limited to, packaging product into smaller pickable units, picking and packing orders, keeping shelves, aisles and packing areas clean and organized.

Rarely:

1-5% of the time in an 8-hour workday (up to 24 minutes)

6-33% of the time in an 8-hour workday (25 minutes to 2.5 hours)

Frequently:

34-66% of the time in an 8-hour workday (2.75 hours to 5.25 hours)

Continuously:

67-100% of the time in an 8-hour workday (5. 5 hours to 8 hours)

Lifting:

Ground to Waist Lift (Frequently) up to 40# (product) Ground to Waist Lift (Occasionally) 40#-50# (product) Waist to Crown (Rarely) up to 50# (product)

Carrying:

Front Carry (Frequently) up to 40# variable distances (product) Single arm carry (Rarely) up to 40# (product) Single arm carry (Continuously) up to 1.5# (scanner)

Pushing/Pulling:

Pushing and Pulling (Continuously) 4 wheeled carts loaded with product requiring up to 70# of force Pushing and Pulling (Occasionally) pushing/pulling with up to 100# of force Pushing and Pulling (Occasionally) pallet jack with up to 300# of force Forward Bending (Frequently) working at heights varying from ground to overhead while reaching in front of body up to 12 to 24" Bend/Squatting/Stooping/Kneeling (Occasionally to Frequently) working as low as ground level Standing/Walking (Continuously) standing on concrete floor throughout entire shift

Overhead Work:

Standing (Occasionally to Frequently) up to crown level with tools/parts in hands Repetitive use of hands/grasping (Frequently to Continuously) Grasping products for packaging, picking and packing products

High School Education or equivalent Good communication skills Excellent organization skills and attention to detail Basic math required Must be able to work well with others and dependable Specific physical qualifications are required Ability to operate a hand-held device
