Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This role is responsible for managing inventory, preparing shipments, and ensuring materials are accurately tracked and moved throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming freight for damage and resolve freight claims as needed Receive and verify purchased goods, complete paperwork, and process transactions Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately and efficiently Prepare finished goods for shipment including packing, crating, and securing loads Maintain inventory accuracy using the MRP system Perform cycle counts and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to appropriate teams Kit parts from stock as needed Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other equipment Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Build skids and pallets as needed Move materials throughout the facility to designated locations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED 0-6 months of related warehouse or material handling experience preferred Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Skills:
Attention to detail and accuracy Organization and time management Basic computer and inventory system familiarity Communication and teamwork Reliability and strong work ethic
