Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
Responsible for managing inventory, processing outbound shipments, and ensuring efficient operation of the warehouse. Perform a variety of duties in the warehouse based on work instructions, and as directed by supervisory personnel in the form of written or verbal instructions. Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move, package, and/or palletize products as needed. Works closely with supervisory personnel, warehouse office staff, and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of orders. Prepare outgoing shipments by packing and labeling products, pallets, and cartons appropriately. Provides completed documentation specifying pallet count, item detail, weight, and lot/date codes (when required). Store products in designated areas within the warehouse to maximize space and efficiency. Breaks down and palletizes inbound freight for count, inspection, and receipt by Receiving Clerk. Assist in cycle counting. Ensure the warehouse is clean and orderly at all times. A Warehouse Clerk is required to: Have strong organization skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment. Ability to read and comprehend pick list instructions and product details. Use hand scanner with 100% accuracy. Abide by safety policies, operator preventative maintenance, and housekeeping practices. Ability to communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues. Knowledge of basic computer skills to access information related to performing job tasks. Work with limited supervision. Perform other duties as assigned. Load/unload trailers and containers. Operate Material Handling Equipment. (Stand-up/Sit-down Forklift, Pallet Jack, Drum Mover, etc)
