Job Description

The Warehouse Technician will report to the Branch Manager and is responsible for the assembly, repair and maintenance of medical oxygen equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
These duties include but are not limited to: Work safely in all aspects of the job Organize and maintain durable medical equipment and applicable accessories Clean & disinfect all returning patient equipment utilizing strict infection control procedures, along with the use and storage of chemicals used in the process, while following hazardous materials procedures Performs Shipping and Receiving and ensures all Assets are accurately recorded and sent to the proper people Perform other warehouse-related duties Maintains work area to keep clean, neat, and organized. Assists with Quality Controls as needed Assist with the proper ordering of equipment Responsible for putting together medical equipment/accessories May occasionally have to help with small equipment repairs Work independently with little supervision, as well as in a Team environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledgeable on medical equipment Two years manufacturing assembly required and must know how to use hand and power tools. Assembly requirements to include; positioning, alignment, adjustment for proper fit, inspection, testing and proper labeling to meet specifications, tolerances and customer requirements. Our devices contain complex mechanical, electrical functionality and all work must be done in compliance with our company quality system and medical device regulations. Must have excellent customer relation skills, attentive to detail and be able to work within a time line.
Physical requirements:
standing, squatting, pushing, lifting from floor/waist/overhead, may have to work in confined areas for short periods of time. Ability to read and follow directions Ability to safely lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs. with or without accommodations Must be reliable, dependable, and thorough in work performed Must have excellent organizational skills A valid state driver's license is required for this position.
PREFERRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Familiarity with the Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) binder Possess basic computer skills (Excel & Word) Possess good communication skills (oral & written)
